Activating the Doc Center
Your customer can choose to share their documents other than invoices with you. This is possible in the file shared with the accountant in the Doc Center.
It is possible to activate the Doc Center by linking to your accounting firm.
When your customer enters your email address to establish the link, you will receive an email inviting you to register on https://files.billtobox.be/ if you do not have an account yet.
Installing Billtobox Files on your computer
Customers who have activated the shared Doc Center will be visible in the web app of Billtobox Files (https://files.billtobox.be/):
You can choose to import these files on your computer. This can be done via the Billtobox Files desktop app that you can download here: https://files.billtobox.be/download.
Open the Billtobox Files installation file that you have just downloaded and follow the steps indicated in the installer.
Restart your computer after installation.
Billtobox Files opens automatically after installation. The application can also open from the shortcut available on your desktop.
- Log in to Billtobox Files
You now see the dashboard and your vault (based on your VAT number).
- Right-click on your vault and select Import as a web drive
A virtual disk is created:
Invite users to Billtobox Files
- Go to https://files.billtobox.be/
- Click on Users and permissions
- Then click on Invite a guest
The user receives an invitation email to create a password on Billtobox Files.
The user will also be able to install Billtobox Files on their computer as described above.
