When there is not enough free space on your hard drive where the Vault image is stored, you will receive the following warning:
You will also notice in the application that it is no longer possible to synchronize, the status of the Vault on the disk with low free storage will also change:
To sync the Vault again, you will need to free up disk space or move the image file to another disk (or partition) with more storage.
Freeing up storage
Check your disk for temporary files that you no longer need and delete them. Don't forget to empty the recycle bin.
Once enough disk space has been freed, you will have to wait a few moments for the disk check to complete, or you can trigger it manually:
- Open Billtobox Files
- Go to Tools > Options
- Check free space on local disk > Check Now
Move the Billtobox Files image file
- Open your Dashboard
- Click on the drop down menu next to your Vault name and select Properties
- Change the Data location path to the desired location
Notes:
The lowest (and default) setting for the threshold is currently 1% of free local disk space, you can also change this manually to 5-10-15-20 and 25%:
- Open your Nomadesk Dashboard
- Tools > Options
- Under Check for local free disk space select the value that you want from the dropdown menu
